Your Job

We empower Creators on their journey to success through deep analytics, AI recommendations, and personal coaching.

Just about every single human on this planet loves to listen to stories, to experience them, and some to tell them. Because of the internet, people are able to build businesses while in the comfort of their own home. However, a lot of people, some with amazing stories, are giving up too fast. There's too much bad information out there on how creators become successful. vidIQ challenges this status quo by giving creators the tools and knowledge needed to grow their audiences faster by enabling them to uncover their own opportunities.

Your team will help creators to grow by making it simple and intuitive for them to get the right data and insights, at the right time, and delivered in the right format. To do this, your team will do in-depth qualitative and quantitative user research, synthesize those findings into actionable designs and high fidelity prototypes, and partner with Product and Engineering to deliver value to creators across the world.


  • Lead UX Design and Research for vidIQ.

  • Hire and mentor managers, designers, and researchers across VidIQ to create world-class user experiences.

  • Drive the creation of world-class user experiences and solutions to real creator problems.

  • Represent the creator by ensuring a regular cadence of qualitative and quantitative studies and bringing their voice into the product creation process.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Customer Success, and Marketing.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional product leadership team members to define and champion a lasting vision, craft roadmaps, and turn vision into reality.

  • Use your executive communication skills to inform and inspire senior leadership, cross-functional partners, and the organization as a whole about the impact of user-centered design.

Job requirements

Required qualifications

  • Experience with national or global brands and/or world-class agencies in a B2C SaaS environment.

  • 7+ years of experience in UX design and research with seamless customer experiences in complex, fast-paced environments.

  • 3+ years of experience managing a UX design and research team for a technology product.

  • Your portfolio demonstrates a relentless focus on the user, a keen eye for detail, and an understanding of how to measure success from a business and customer perspective. 

  • Extensive experience using AB testing data as well as generative and evaluative UX research to drive design decisions.

  • A track record of setting, communicating and shipping a product vision many years out.

  • Ability to promote the value of a user-centered product development approach and communicate a user-focused point of view within a technical, data-driven organization.

  • Demonstrated business acumen that informs your user experience vision, strategy, decision making, and execution.

  • Outstanding executive-level communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to bring people together from different disciplines and inspire them to work toward a unified vision.

Bonus qualifications

  • Experience with remote teams or companies is a plus.

  • Experience with products within the creator or influencer economy is a plus.

  • Experience as a Creator is a plus (include your YouTube channel!)

  • Experience managing UX copywriting teams is a plus

  • University degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline a plus
